Is it recommended to ask COVID-19 risk assessment questions before allowing visitors? Screening questions are a good idea for workplaces that interact with the public. Have a look at the WorkSafe BC FAQ section on their website. As a general guideline, the following people should not be permitted into the workplace:
- Anyone who has had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 10 days; symptoms include fever, chills, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, and new muscle aches or headache.
- Anyone under the direction of the provincial health officer to self-isolate.
- Anyone who has arrived from outside of Canada, or who is a contact of a confirmed COVID-19 case.
